Score: Hawksley Cameos in TIFF Opener

A Hockey Musical, directed by Michael McGowen, co-starring Olivia Newton-John and featuring a cameo and musical contributions by Hawksley (along with other Canadian musicians), will open the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this year–marking the first time a musical film has opened the festival.

No Way! I’m directing a show at the Grand Theatre with Amy Wright! She’s the choreographer in both productions. Now I know 2 people in “Score”!
Can’t wait to see the movie Hawksley! Say “Hi” to Amy for me at the opening.
