A Hockey Musical, directed by Michael McGowen, co-starring Olivia Newton-John and featuring a cameo and musical contributions by Hawksley (along with other Canadian musicians), will open the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this year–marking the first time a musical film has opened the festival.
Hawksley Workman Performs on “Garth Hudson Presents A Canadian Celebration of The Band”
NEWSHawksley was among several talented musicians to perform on this all-Canadian recording. He sang “I loved You Too Much” on the album, which was released on November 16, 2010. Partial proceeds from the record will support The Hospital for Sick Children.
